Summary

My name is Tim Pietrowski, and I come from Recklinghausen, Germany. At just 16 years old, I am a forward-thinking high school student with a strong foundation in product and

industrial design, driven by the challenge of transforming complex ideas into functional products. My

approach to combine both technical innovations with creative storytelling – a mindset developed through

a decade of intensive classical piano playing and hands-on technical internships. I focus heavily on the

iterative process, using sketches, prototypes, and systematic problem-solving to explore and document

the journey from initial concept to physical form.

– Attending 12th grade on a German High School (Gymnasium Petrinum, Recklinghausen) (2020-

present)

– Vocational diploma („Fachhochschulreife“) in 2027

– Final graduation (Abitur) in 2028.

Design & Technical Experience

– Technical Internship IBEG Systems GmbH (2024-present)

• Analyzing the complex engineering behind high-tech vane cell compressors

• Creating instruction videos for employees

• Design and renew products

– Industrial Design Seminar Academy Ruhr (11.2025 – 04.2026)

• Developed independent design drafts, focused on the journey from initial conceptual

sketches, rapid prototyping to a final product completion

– studying classical and modern piano for 10 years (2016-present).
